10,000 Feet Dance Company

Telluride Dance Academy is the proud home of the 10,000 Feet Dance Company. This new company had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival in September 2006. The company performed two pieces, “Temple Dance” and “Survivor”, both are original choreography by the company’s Director and Telluride Dance Academy Instructor Cindy Mason. The music for both dances was composed and performed by Mark Goldfogel.

In addition to the company's premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, other recent performances have included the Rico Peace Garden, the Spirit of the Valley Festival, the Telluride Dance Academy Nutcracker Holiday and the Telluride 4th of July Parade, where the company won first place for best musical group.
